Bayes AI

Bayes AI was first introduced as a product of MMAPlay365 at the start of 2022. The easiest way to explain Bayes AI is that it uses advanced AI technology to predict outcomes of fights in the UFC. The AI algorithms are built on Bayesian theory. What this means is that the algorithms allow for the data inside the algorithms to be updated and therefore provide a new set of calculated results.

The AI basically learns and develops. This is great for sports betting, especially MMA because every time a fighter in the UFC has a fight, the stats will be altered and therefore the AI will require new data/numbers to keep accurately predicting fights. To our knowledge, there is currently nothing else like Bayes AI globally, that uses these specific algorithms and datasets and built on Bayesian theory.

Bayes AI Predictions

Bayes AI provides predictions in the form of percentages (%). The AI will deliver a percentage prediction on every possible outcome of a fight from the simplest form of the probability of which fighter will win the fight and lose the fight to the probability of each fighters’ chances of winning by knockout in round one.

The three categories of the predictions provided by Bayes AI are:

Win Only – Win only is simply a percentage of which fighter will win and lose in a specific fight.

Win + Method of Victory – This category provides the user with percentages of each fighter in a fight to win by knockout, to win by submission and to win by decision.

Win + Method of Victory + Round – This category provides the user with percentages of each fighter in a fight to win by knockout in round one, two and three and to win by submission in round one, two and three. Rounds four and five are also included for Championship fights and main events.

Bayes AI provides predictions as percentages for every possible outcome of a fight. This then allows a user to take this information and decide what bets they would like to make based on how confident Bayes AI is. It also allows advanced users to convert these percentages into odds and use Bayes AI’s implied odds probability to match against the bookmakers’ odds. For example, if Bayes AI thinks that Conor McGregor has a 70% chance to win a fight, then that means Bayes AI is stating that McGregor should be a -233 favourite. But if McGregor is a -150 favourite at the bookies, there’s your value.

Top 6

New to 2024 is TOP 6 by Bayes AI! We have developed upon the AI software which now allows our algorithms to automatically deliver the Top 6 predictions / highest percentages from each individual category that Bayes AI provides predictions for. These results are now not only displayed on the Betting Hubs, but they also include odds conversions from the percentages and displayed to the user in the form of American Moneyline, Decimal and Fractional odds. It is important to remember that these calculated odds are Bayes AI’s implied odds, not the odds at the bookies. The AI takes the percentages from the predictions and converts that to the relevant odds. So if Bayes AI gives a fighter a 60% probability of winning, this would then convert to -150 on the American Moneyline.

We’ve also added in a section that displays a parlay (accumulator/multiples) odds number too. So you know that if you parlay all of those outcomes, what odds Bayes AI is saying that you should expect. Of course when you go to the bookies, what you are looking for is the odds at the bookies to be better than what Bayes AI is stating.

Top 6 will include all of the above data, information and odds for the top six and highest percentages of the Win Only, Win + Method of Victory and Win + Method of Victory + Round. This is at no extra cost and will be an additional three sections in the Betting Hubs.
