Brand New Updates To The Official Tape Index
TAPE INDEX INTRODUCTION
The Official Tape Index by MMAPlay365 is a product that has been available for over 5 years. It was launched in 2019 to combat an initial issue that a lot of handicappers (gamblers) were having when betting on MMA fights. Most handicappers like to watch previous fight footage of both fighters competing in an upcoming MMA fight before making a decision of whether to place a bet on that fight or not. But the difficulty of doing this is that it wasn’t clear which previous fights had available online footage and which fights didn’t. The only way to find out is by searching fight by fight. This was extremely time-consuming and some fights are much harder to find than others, so in some circumstances a handicapper may have missed a fight that was online, but being unable to find it.
So the Tape Index was developed to provide a service where at MMAPlay365, we do all the hard work looking around the internet trying to find as many fights as possible for specific upcoming fights, so the user doesn’t have to. We also added in the links for a fighters’ UFC Stats page, Tapology profiles and their Instagram profiles too, to maximise research. We compile all of this information in a plain and simple link list. Nothing fancy, no crazy graphics. Just a simple long list of links which will take you outside of the MMAPlay365 website to their correct destination.
This became a very popular product at MMAPlay365 and is still one of the most popular products that we offer, 5 years later. It even attracted the attention of certain UFC broadcast members, which opened up a new purpose for the Tape Index because it became apparent that commentators also need to study previous fighters’ fights so that they can basically do their job, talking about fighters whilst live on air. Then we noticed that some coaches from the “mega gyms” in the US along with some UFC fighters were also using the Tape Index. The Tape Index now had a third purpose. Coaches and fighters are busy people, so using the Tape Index to study their upcoming opponent helped them save a ton of time.
And all this costs is just $3.99 per month. You’ll lose more money every month with coins falling out of your pockets behind your sofa!
LATEST TAPE INDEX UPDATES
Initially, when we launched the product, we only covered UFC events. But as the service became more popular, we decided to add Bellator and PFL events too. At the time, the three biggest MMA promotions in the world. But the Tape Index continued to grow and more and more handicappers were joining the platform. The more handicappers that joined, the more promotions that were being requested. Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series (DWCS) was a brand new series from the UFC and became very popular to bet on. So we added this as our fourth promotion to the Tape Index.
Then we started getting some requests for the smaller regional promotions. There wasn’t as much of a demand here but enough for us to rethink the Tape Index. We decided to create an extension of the Tape Index and we called it Tape Index Plus. This was just one dollar cheaper than the main Tape Index at just $2.99. The Tape Index Plus only covered Road To UFC, Cage Warriors, LFA, Fury FC and CFFC.
However, what we have noticed is that LFA, Fury FC and CFFC have become less popular. So we are making a brand new change to the Tape Index. We have decided to add Road To UFC and Cage Warriors events into the main Tape Index at no extra cost. We will then discontinue the Tape Index Plus only. Those that are current Tape Index Plus subscribers will receive an email explaining this also.
So the current subscribers of the Tape Index will now receive two more promotions into their subscriptions for the same $3.99 as they’ve always paid.
